We really enjoy our work in this dynamic and rapidly evolving sector, working in partnership with both Serco Caledonian Sleeper and ScotRail to develop their ranges and supporting their efforts to constantly improve their customer experience and drive commercial performance. From specialist small batch products from artisan producers to all the major brands and everything in between we can provide a comprehensive, tailored ranges, picked by location and delivered at a time to suit you.

Our On Board Partners

ScotRail have put a plan together to revolutionise they way we use trains. They have pledged to make sure journeys are fast, reliable and easy – not just when travelling on the train, but throughout the entire trip from door to door. In many ways, the new ScotRail franchise aims to represent a landmark, not just for the railway and its passengers, but for Scotland as a whole. ScotRail wants to become a national asset which the country can be proud of, for its part in helping to build prosperity, better quality of life and a fairer society throughout Scotland.

To achieve these ambitions. They spent almost three years speaking to people, businesses, the tourist industry and councils the length and breadth of Scotland to get their views and think about how they can work together. They’re now doing everything they can to play their part in helping to achieve Scotland’s vision for its railway.

The part we play is to supply food, beverages and catering supplies for on-board and station catering operations. We update the range twice a year to make sure that ScotRail can offer their customers the most sort after Scottish products while they travel. We supply around 100 lines of produce to ScotRail and are constantly working with them to help develop their customer offer.

We are all about making things as simple as possible for our partners, so we offer a storage, picking and delivery service to their hot beverages supplier meaning ScotRail are able to place one order and receive one collated delivery.

train

The Caledonian Sleeper is an overnight train service running in both directions between key stations in Scotland and London. With users for both business and leisure the Caledonian Sleeper will get you to some of the UK’s most wonderful destinations. Whether you are travelling to London, Edinburgh, Glasgow, Inverness, Aberdeen or Fort William, you will go there in comfort and enjoy a friendly and relaxed atmosphere.

Guests of the Caledonian Sleeper trains want to try some of Scotland’s finest food range, so we partner with Dingwall-based kitchen RSF Scotland, who create a wide range of meals and snacks using ingredients from sustainable Highland sources. They are using fresh produce with traceable provenance, RSF has dedicated Itself to taking guests on a culinary tour of Scotland, from classic dishes to contemporary delights.

We also supply an extensive range of Scottish beers and spirits for guests wanting to try some of the less traditional beverages Scotland is becoming famous for… as well as the customarily highland Whiskies.

We have sourced many products in partnership with Serco who operate the sleeper services and they often introduce us to interesting products that they want to offer to their customers. We have the commercial relationship with the suppliers whose products are stocked on the sleeper.  We source, store and send Serco a wide variety of goods from  food and drink to their non-food sundries like cups and cutlery.

The Food and Drink Hub offer us a bespoke service, supplying a wide, tailored range of local Scottish produce to our stores to supplement our core national range.   We have found the Food and Drink Hub to be experts in their knowledge of the Scottish market and proactive in their approach. They handle orders with minimal fuss and have increased our supply chain efficiency and central control by reducing the number of direct deliveries into stores.
