We are now into Autumn and we have a whole new set of in season Scottish produce to enjoy throughout our meals this month. This month is your last month to turn those wonderful summer fruits into delicious jams and chutneys to enjoy throughout Autumn and Winter (it’s nearly Christmas too you know…) Another good and easy way to preserve your summer vegetables is to turn them into a pickle or relish.
Harvest time means that we have a deliciously wide choice across every category. From game to squash, shellfish to brambles, this is a very exciting month to be discovering and exploring Scotland’s natural larder.
